Last week I had Blues Break, which is a week off school in the middle of winter. Got to ride a bunch and had some fun competitions.
Thursday I had a Rail Jam competition in the small park on Mt. Werner, just a fun, freestyle event. I won Most Creative! One run I went down one- footed, with my back foot off the binding. Another run I got slingshotted by some skier friends. See the video, It's pretty funny.
Then Thursday night I was in a Big Air comp over at Howelsen Hill, and got my picture in the paper from that! I'll try to post a link to the newspaper article.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday was a BoaderCross (BX) competition in Winter Park. Friday was training. I stayed there at my mom's cousin Bart's house. Saturday was competition. I had a good Time Trial, then made it to the final and got fourth place 'cause I fell.
Sunday was another competition. A pretty decent Time Trial, and then made the Final. In the Final, I got the Hole Shot and then stayed in front for half the course and got passed, and ended up second!
Not bad considering my board was broken and I'm the youngest of six kids in my age class.

Today I had a Slopestyle competition in Vail! There were three jumps and two rails. On my first run, I did a tail grab. On the second jump, I did a big mute grab, and on the third jump I did a tail grab. Then On the first rail, I did a boardslide. and on the second rail, I did a grab off of it. On this run I got a score of 65.34.After that run I was in Third Place out of ten riders in my age class.
On my second run, on the first jump I did an Indy grab. On the second jump I did a big Method air. On the third jump I threw a 180, which turned into a 360! On the first rail, I did a backside boardslide. On the second rail I did a Method. I didn't get to see my score on that run, but I ended up in Fifth Place.
Now I know what I need to work on for my next Slopestyle competition!
