Haven't updated in a long time... nursing an injury. I made it to Nationals in 3 events! Giant Slalom, Slalom and Boardercross. I'm really excited to get back on the snow and train!
I just want to send out a big shout out to Sean at Donek Snowboards, my main sponsor. Just got a new board! It's a Donek Saber 138. Custom made to fit me, it's mainly a board for Boardercross, but I'm gonna try it for Slalom with my Hardboots also!!

This weekend I had a slope and pipe comp:) It was so fun!
The first day was the Halfpipe Competition. My first run people said looked really good, but I fell. So on my second run, I did the same run, but I didn't fall. With those two runs I finished eighth place. Kinda disapointing, but I'm the youngest in my age class, and that pipe is much bigger than ours here at Steamboat.
The second day I had Slopestyle.

Blues Break
Last week I had Blues Break, which is a week off school in the middle of winter. Got to ride a bunch and had some fun competitions.
Thursday I had a Rail Jam competition in the small park on Mt. Werner, just a fun, freestyle event. I won Most Creative! One run I went down one- footed, with my back foot off the binding. Another run I got slingshotted by some skier friends. See the video, It's pretty funny.
Then Thursday night I was in a Big Air comp over at Howelsen Hill, and got my picture in the paper from that! I'll try to post a link to the newspaper article.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday was a BoaderCross (BX) competition in Winter Park. Friday was training. I stayed there at my mom's cousin Bart's house. Saturday was competition. I had a good Time Trial, then made it to the final and got fourth place 'cause I fell.
Sunday was another competition. A pretty decent Time Trial, and then made the Final. In the Final, I got the Hole Shot and then stayed in front for half the course and got passed, and ended up second!
Not bad considering my board was broken and I'm the youngest of six kids in my age class.
